For superior registration, our exposure units are also fitted with steel drawer frames housing precision tooled glass from CA Picard.

Colonial has taken an important step toward consistency with the acquisition of its new develop, etch, strip (DES) line from Hollmuller Maschinenbau GmbH. Hollmuller etching modules are characterized by a whole series of innovations. Double spray tube activation produces even etching results across the entire treated surface. The module is also supplied with a fully-automatic etching program, and an etching correction system which compensates for deviations at the front and rear edges of the boards.

For etched panels (and films), our Orion 604hr from Camtek USA provides advanced automated optical inspection capabilities in a cost-effective platform. Firmware-based architecture enables easy implementation of a rich library of sophisticated detection algorithms. Three detection methodologies work in synergism to achieve outstanding detection ability for a diverse range of materials Eall the way to 2.5-mil line / space technology. (Spec sheet)
